Recorded in July 2016 at Stefaniensaal in Graz / styriarte festival.

The performances of Missa solemnis at the styriarte festival in Graz and at the Salzburg Festival in summer 2015 were the last concerts of Nikolaus Harnoncourt – the same year he retired from  stage. It was his express wish that this recording, produced during rehearsals and the concerts in Graz should be his last release.
