Nikolaus Harnoncourt (1929-2016)

One day before his 86th birthday, on the 5th of December 2015, Nikolaus Harnoncourt ended his career as a conductor – his health doesn’t allow for more. Only three months later, on March 5th, 2016, he died, surrounded by his family, at the house at Attersee:
